Ruth Marlene "Mimi" (Mitchell) Pepper

Ruth Marlene "MiMi" Pepper, age 75, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2015.

A loving mother and sister, MiMi is survived by her daughter, Christine Pepper; son, Harry Pepper III, PhD; two sisters, Shirley Prosperi and Joanne Darko and one brother, William Mitchell, M.D.

MiMi grew up in Pennsylvania, received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University, worked for the CIA and for a major Washington, DC law firm where she served as an Executive Assistant.  Since 1969, she lived in the Tallmadge area where she served faithfully as a volunteer in the local community.  For over 25 years, MiMi loved and was loved by her friends in both her yoga and line dancing classes.   MiMi was a long time member of and CCD teacher at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tallmadge.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Avenue (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle) in Tallmadge.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Avenue in Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating.  Interment will be held at a later time at St. Vincent Cemetery in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
