Sally R. Bacon, 72, passed away peacefully in her home on 6/16/16. She was born in New Castle, Pa., and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School with the Class of 1961. She was a Tallmadge resident for 38 years and she retired from the Tallmadge Family Medical Center in 2006 after 30 years of dedicated service. She was also a life long member of the First United Methodist Church. She will be most remembered for her love, selflessness and devotion to her family. She lived to watch her daughters and granddaughters play softball, basketball, volleyball and cheer. In addition, she loved to settle into her chair in the corner of her porch; BR in hand, watching the PGA Tour and cheering for her beloved Cleveland CAVS (just one more win mom)! She was preceded in death by mother, Doris Salberg and Father Carl Salberg. She is survived by her brother, Pete (Shelly) Salberg; sister, Becky (Jim) Murphy; her loving daughters, Barb (Steve) Honeycutt, Debi (Jim) Bolt, Becki (Mike) Gray. In addition, she had eight amazing grandchildren, Hannah, Ryan (Eagle Scout), Mike, Jessica, Steven, Gabbi, Lani and Lexi. She also had one great-granddaughter, Josie. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016, 245 Portage Trail, Cuy Falls 44221. A church reception to greet family and friends to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made at any 5/3 Bank under an account ending 0262. These funds will benefit her passion- Tallmadge youth sporting organizations.
