Sandra Lee Baer (Perrine)

Sandra Lee Baer (née Perrine), 75, passed away on March 16, 2026.

Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in Tallmadge. Sandy was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.

Sandy was a teacher at Richardson Elementary School in Cuyahoga Falls and was very active with her church and scouts. She loved gathering with her retired teacher friends and was a member of the boat club.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; parents, Robert and Bernadette Perrine; and brothers, Jim and Bobby Perrine.

Sandy is survived by her loving family, sons, Johnny (Katie) Baer and Chris Baer both of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Lily and Milo; brothers, Budd and Bernie

Perrine; lifelong friend and soul sister, Marilyn (Bob) Freeman; sisters-in-law, niece, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, 915 N. Main St, Akron.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, 915 N. Main St, Akron, with one hour visitation preceding.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scouting America Great Trail Council (4500 Hudson Dr., Stow, OH) in Sandy’s memory.
