Scott Overholt

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Overholt on April 9, 2023, at the age of 61 after losing a debilitating battle with anxiety and depression. Scott was born on August 24, 1961, in Tallmadge, Ohio, to proud parents, Clair and Beatrice Overholt and he was blessed with two beautiful children, Ryan and Muriel Overholt.

Scott was a graduate of Tallmadge High School, and he continued his education at The University of Akron, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Nothing put a spark in Scott's eye like a good game of corn hole, or a hot summer day on the lake. His passions included golfing, camping, boating and fishing. He was a loyal friend who enjoyed spending time with the people he cared about most.

Scott is survived by his two children, Ryan and Muriel Overholt; his brother, Jeffrey Overholt; his mother, Beatrice Overholt; and his much-loved dog, Newman.

Scott Overholt was a beloved father, friend, and colleague, who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His generous spirit and kind heart will be remembered forever in our hearts.
