IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Serafino
Piermarini
April 16, 1966 – June 15, 2021
Serafino Piermarini, 55, beloved husband, Papa, brother, Zio/Uncle and Nonno, passed away into the arms of our Lord on June 15, 2021 surrounded by his family after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born April 18,1966 to the late Emidio and Rosa (Traini) Piermarini. Serafino graduated from Walsh Jesuit in 1984 during which time he met his future soul mate Karen (Kraszewski) at a church retreat at St. Anthony of Padua Church. It was love at first sight. His high school sweetheart became his wife on June 10, 1989. Their love together brought 32 years of marriage and five wonderful children, Mariette, Serafino, Christopher, Pellegrino and Domenico. Serafino was a loving father who enjoyed spending time whenever he could with his family. This included coaching all his children's soccer teams and immersing them in his heritage by bring them to Pretare, Italy. Serafino claimed Pretare was the only place he could read a book due to the temperate weather and beautiful view of Monte Vettore. Serafino was a hardworking man continuing a legacy passed on from his father Emidio to support his family in the family business. Serafino also was able to share his amazing work ethic with his children as they all started young working at the family restaurant. They all enjoyed getting to spend more time with their papa. Serafino was a "goofball" and everyone loved him for it. His silly ties, character impressions, silly jokes and movie quotes along with his contagious laugh brought smiles to everyone in his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rosa and Emidio Piermarini and father-in-law Eugene Kraszewski. He is survived by his loving wife Karen Piermarini; adoring children Mariette (Joseph Vitti), Serafino (Brittany), Christopher (April), Pellegrino (Hallie) and Domenico, his adoring grandchildren Rosalina Vitti, Joseph Vitti, Ildiko Piermarini, Serafina Piermarini (due August 2021) and one more on the way - so far - due January 2022; brothers Pellegrino (Tina, Emidio, Victoria, Olivia), Domenico (Agnese, Emidio, Cesare) and Emidio; in-laws Carol Kraszewski, Fr.
