Sharon K Haben

Sharon K. Haben, passed away February 25, 2026 after a brief illness.

“Grandma Sharon” was born in Akron and lived most of her life in the Tallmadge area and was a graduate of Mogadore High School in 1961. She was a highly skilled typist and proficient in shorthand working as an administrative assistant for Crawford Sheet Metal and Wilkinson Company as well as a rating clerk for Yellow Freight – Roadway. She finished her career working as a cashier at Twin Valu and Target. She enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren, going to the beach, reading best-selling novels, spending holidays with her family, watching the Peanuts holiday specials, and eating at Luigi’s Restaurant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, Jacob and Hilda (Kayle) Weible; sisters, Roberta (Willard) Wray and Marilyn (Tony) Montesano; stepdaughter, Tracy Nester, nephew Terry Montesano and niece Darlene Montesano.

Sharon is survived by sons, Michael Knutty of Cuyahoga Falls, David (Anne) Knutty of Tallmadge; stepson, Brad (Paula) Haben; stepdaughter, Pam (Tony) Seeker of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Kelsey, Cameron, Emma, Venessa, Ryan, Collin, and Amber; great grandchildren Malcolm; Addison, Brooklyn and Ireland; Noah and Aiden; Gwen and Gabe; and nieces Gayle (Gary) Gibb, who was raised with Sharon like a sister, and Tammy (Wes) Scalise.

A special word of thanks to the staff at Heather Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility and WellSpring Hospice for their outstanding care and guidance.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
