Stanley Roadman

Stanley Roadman, 72, went to be with the Lord March 15, 2016.

Born in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, Stanley had lived in Tallmadge since 1984.  He served in the U.S. Army and retired in 2007 from Chrysler with over 30 years of service.  Stanley was a member of Grace Cathedral Church, where he was an usher and very involved at the church.  He enjoyed rebuilding cars, gardening, and was an avid supporter of his daughter's athletic career.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Roadman; sisters, Martha, Gladys, Rachel, and brothers, Dale, Kenneth, Eugene, Merle, Paul and Joseph.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter, Denise (Beth) Roadman of Kent; sisters, Elmina, Sarah, Edna; and brother, David.

Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) and also Saturday, March 19, 2016, 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Grace Cathedral Church Akron.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Grace Cathedral Akron, 1055 Canton Rd., Akron with Rev. Chris Machamer officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
