Stephen E. Bussey, 59, passed away January 14, 2014.He was born in Akron where he lived most of his life. He graduated from Kenmore High School and received his Masters Degree from The University of Akron. Steve was a Southern Baptist Minister. He was an avid Ohio State fan, loved all kinds of music and was a very good singer.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Genevieve Bussey and his son, Joshua, Steve is survived by his wife, Susan; siblings, Terri (Chuck) Stayshich, Ken Bussey and Mary (Tom) Winters; and his son Matthew.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. officiated by Pastor Doug Wiles. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association .
