Steve Dibona

Steve DiBona, 95, passed away February 3, 2024. Born in Akron, he lived most of his life in the Mogadore area in the house that he built.

Steve was a proud Navy veteran. He enjoyed traveling, was an avid fisherman, and loved high school football, especially Mogadore and Field.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Geraldine, his parents, Pietro and Phyllis DiBona; and sister, Anne Zacklanovich.

Steve is survived by his sons, Pete, John, and James; grandchildren, Cory (Shayna) DiBona and Aaron DiBona; great-grandchildren, Enzo and Vivian DiBona; and brother, John DiBona.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at. St. Joseph Parish, 2643 Waterloo Road, Mogadore.

Mass of Christian burial will follow visitation at 11:00 am at the church with Fr. Zachary Coulter officiating.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to make donations to Catholic War Veterans Post 1325 of St. Joseph Parish.
