Steven James Linton

Steven J. Linton, 59, Akron, passed away on May 19, 2025.  He was born in Akron and lived all of his life in the Akron area.

Steve was a laborer with Local 310, loved camping, riding his dirt bike and ATV's, listening to music, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandson, Ronnie.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Stephanie; parents, Leroy and Nancy Linton; mother and father-in-law, Eugene and Esmine Goad; step-father, Mike Byrne; brother, Roger; sister-in-law, Mary (William) Sparks; and nephew, William Sparks III

Steve is survived by his wife of 36 years, Vanessa; son, Ronnie Wagner, grandson, Ronnie; sister, Jacki Cyr; brother-in-laws, Eugene Goad Jr., Sam Goad, Kevin (Tina) Goad; nieces and nephews, Shannon, Kevin Jr., Meghan (Nick Testa), Emily, Damien, Jaydalyn, Scarlett, and Stella; and best friend, Tom Walker.

He will be loved and missed by all. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family
