Susan L. Gasaway (Plueddemann), 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends March 10, 2018. Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in Tallmadge.
Susan was a graduate of Tallmadge High School. She worked as an office manager at MST and a cosmetologist at Carol Martin for many years. Susan was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge and enjoyed golfing, gardening, and playing volleyball. She loved spending time with family and friends. Susan completed her bucket list with a trip to Hawaii.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Plueddemann; brothers, Tommy and Donald; and father in-law, Dave Gasaway.
Susan is survived by her husband, Kevin; daughter, Corrine Gasaway; son, Aaron Gasaway both of Tallmadge; sisters, Diane (Scott) Small of Connecticut, Patty Weinschenk of Akron, her twin, Sandy (Keith) Zickefoose of Tallmadge; mother-in-law, Nerine Gasaway; brother-in-laws, Kirt (Gina) and Mike (Heather) Gasaway; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Celebration of life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Guy's Party Center, 500 E Waterloo Road, Akron. Please wear purple to honor Sue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network / www.pancan.org in Sue's name.
