Susan (Hennessy) Lawrentz, 64, passed away November 13, 2022.  She was born in Akron and lived all of her life in the area.  She graduated from Tallmadge High School and was employed by Cleveland Clinic Akron General.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory, and father, Terry Hennessy.  Sue is survived by her sons, Donald Lawrentz, Christopher Lawrentz, and Eric (Dani) Lawrentz; 10 grandchildren, Aizlee, Meadow, Loralie, Jocelyn, Mya, Austyn, Mia, Adam, Gianna, and Mark; mother, Patricia Hennessy; sisters, Amy (John) Donovan, Julie Winebrenner, and Colleen (David) Vincent; brother, Terry (Lisa) Hennessy; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 AM Friday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Ave, Akron, OH.  Friends will be received from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St., Akron, OH.
