Sylvia V. Steele

Sylvia V. Steele, 79, passed away July 28, 2016.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Sylvia was born in Maryville, Tennessee, but lived in the Akron area all of her life.  She retired in 1999 from the Food Service Industry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and eight brothers and sisters.

Sylvia is survived by daughters, Reta (Ronald) Forest of Akron, Jacklan Steele of Cuyahoga Falls, and Myra Hale of Akron; granddaughter, Christine (Joshua) Clarkston; great grandsons, Avery and Tristan; sister, Alice Bales of  Cocoa, FL; brothers, Ira B. Freeman of Akron and Ronald Freeman of Alcoa, TN, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Graveside Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
