Ted A. Anti (Tibor)

On Wednesday, September 21, Ted Anti, a beloved Husband and Papa, passed away peacefully at his home with his Wife at his side. He was 89 years old. He immigrated here from Budapest, Hungry in 1956. Just 3 years later he met the love of his life, Louise while waiting at a bus stop to take him to school to learn how to speak English. They were married for 62 years.

Ted was a hardworking man. He worked at Krispy Kreme Donuts for 35 years before retiring as the best donut maker in the world. He also enjoyed many hobbies such as bowling, euchre, traveling, watching game shows and gardening. He loved playing Bingo and going to Casinos the most.

He is survived by his wife, Louise, his two children Catherine and Michael and three grandchildren, Nicole (Oliece) Nash, Stephanie (Derick) Bauman and Sydnee. He was also a great grandpa to Beckett, Harlyn, Kade Bauman and Ryder Nash.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Saturday at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Place Akron.  Friends will be received from 9 to 10:30 am at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made at the funeral home to family or Summa Hospice.
