Terrance Patrick Hennessy II, loving husband and father, and beloved member of his community, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025. He was 55 years old.

Born on March 19, 1970, Terry dedicated his life to serving others with compassion and dignity. As the proud owner and director of Hennessy Funeral Home, he guided countless families through their most difficult times, always providing comfort and care with a gentle heart and unwavering respect.

Above all, Terry was a family man. He was the loving husband of Lisa, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. Together they raised five beautiful sons: Terry (Megan), Jeremy, Casey, Keegan, and Sam who were his greatest pride and joy. He also leaves behind his mother, Pat Hennessy; sisters, Amy (John) Donovan, Julie Winebrenner, and Colleen (Dave) Vincent; sisters and brothers in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Hennessy Sr. and his sister, Sue Lawrentz.

He will be remembered for his big heart, his infectious laugh, his unmatched comedy, and the countless lives he touched both professionally and personally.

Visitation will be held at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 North Main Street, Akron, OH 44310 on Thursday, June 19th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church on Friday, June 20th at 11:30 am, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH.

Terry will be deeply missed and forever loved.
