Theodore "Ted" Snyder

Theodore "Ted" Snyder passed away April 11, 2022, at the age of 88. Ted was born in Constableville, New York. He lived most of his life in Tallmadge, Ohio, where he raised a family and enjoyed the company of family and friends.

Ted served honorably in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War and was a machinist at Terex, Goodyear Aerospace, and Herman Machine.  He enjoyed fishing and was an avid sports fan, cheering for "Anything Cleveland". Ted loved visiting with friends and family, drinking cold beer, and relaxing on his patio in the summer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita; son, Brad; brother, Otis; and granddaughter, Holly.

Ted is survived by his son, Brian (Judi); sister, Sue (Gerald) Fletcher; sister-in-law, Helen Snyder; brother-in law, Dave (Loretta) Oles; sister-in-law, Adna Oles; daughter-in-law, Cyndi Garmon; grandchildren, Taylor (Mike), Adam, Rita, Natalie; great grandchildren, Robbie and Theo; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle). A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the PL.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
