Therese A. Schaber, 61, passed away August 13, 2018.  She was born in Akron where she lived all of her life.  She was a long time member of the Chapel in Akron and was employed by Signet Jewelers. Therese was a devoted Christian who loved spending time with her family and friends.  She also loved trips to Nashville and traveling to country concerts with friends.  She will be deeply missed by all.

Therese was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Schaber and her sister, Rita Schaber.  She is survived by her mother, Geneva Schaber; sisters, Mary (Brett) Hume, Denise (Creston) McCumbers and Diane Schaber; brother, Robert J. Schaber; nieces, Amanda (Joe) Stevens, Brigette Hume and Ashley (Ben) Hoover; nephews, Cory (Stephanie) Hume, Bryan (Leanna) Hume and Gary Hume; 8 great nieces and nephews; her loving dogs, Savannah and Wiley.

Funeral Services will be at 10 am Friday August 17, 2018 at The Chapel 135 Fur Hill, Akron, OH 44304.  Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 pm Thursday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron.
