Thomas "Tommy" Edward Watson, Jr.

Thomas "Tommy" Edward Watson, Jr., 63 of Akron passed away on June 23, 2024. Born in Akron, Ohio to Thomas and Ola Watson, Sr., he attended North High School.

He was an avid entrepreneur dedicated to service and operations of his many rental homes, The Budget Muffler Shop of Kent, The Northside Saloon, and The American Chuck Wagon of Akron. He had a mind for business and new ideas to create the life he wanted, doing it his way. He enjoyed playing poker and pool, especially with teammates on the Northside Shooters. Tommy was known to never turn down a game of foosball, Risk, or chess and on Sunday's during football season he would be waving his "Terrible Towel" cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tommy is survived by his parents Thomas and Ola Watson, Sr; daughters, Amanda "Mandi" Watson and Jaclyn Lancaster; grandchildren, Dylan Watson, and Aria Lancaster; brothers, David (Penny) Watson and Rusty Watson, Mark (Sue) Butler; as well as his nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) on Friday June 28, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm.
