Thomas Arnold Letzler

Thomas Arnold Letzler, 81, passed away November 15, 2021. He was born in Akron and lived in the area his entire life.

Tom was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge where he served the church in Stephen Ministry, worked the sound board, and was a member of the transition team.  He enjoyed bird watching, going to the seashore, traveling, and fine dining. He was also involved in his community, serving as a Strong Heart with Warriors' Journey Home as well as serving on the Springfield Township Rock the Docks committee. Tom had a wonderful sense of humor, was very kind hearted, a loving family man, and a great friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Kathryn Letzler.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of almost 15 years, Sharon; daughters, Laura (Michelle Hockman) Letzler, Kristin (Stephen) Kenney; sister, Barbara Hamm; grandchildren, Patrick and Rachael.  Tom will be greatly missed by his extended family, in-laws, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Memorial service will be December 4, 2021 at First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Drive, Tallmadge, Ohio with calling hours starting at 3 pm and memorial service at 4pm.
