Thomas "Tom" Richard Ocepek

Thomas R. "Tom" Ocepek passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 69.  Tom was born in Cleveland, graduated from St. John's High School in Ashtabula, then attended Kent State University.

Tom began his career at Roadway Express, where he worked for 30 years as a Pricing Analyst.  He then worked an additional 5 years at Summa Health Systems. Tom loved to garden in the Summer, fish with his friends, Steve and Larry, and camp with his friends, Mike and Andy. He enjoyed vacationing at the Outer Banks every chance he got.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore.

Tom is survived by his mother, Genevieve; loving friend and partner, Sylvia; brother, Ken (Yvonne) Ocepek; sisters, Linda (Richard) Oldani, Sharon (James) Field; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at St. Matthew's Church, 2603 Benton Ave., Akron on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.
