Thomasena Howell

Thomasena Jean Howell, 83 of Alliance, Ohio, began her walk with the Lord the morning of June 23rd, 2015.

Born in New Castle, PA, Thomasena was the daughter of the late Anderson, Sr. and Dorothy N. Campbell Wise.  She was a majorette while at New Castle High School and loved traveling, cooking and family gatherings.

"Sis" is survived by her loving husband, Allen Howell, daughter Tamarah of Pacoima, CA and by her son, Alvin Hueston of Sharon, PA and by her sisters, Joy, Geraldine and Shirley and by brothers, Lorenzo and George.  She lived to see 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by sisters Lorali and Beverly, and by brothers, Cleveland, Charles, Robert, Anderson, Jr. and Cornelius.

She was a faithful member of Grace Cathedral Church where she served selflessly for over 35 years.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Grace Cathedral Church Akron, 1055 Canton Rd., Akron.

Funeral Services will be 12 p.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Chris Machamer officiating.

Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
