Tony Roppolo

Tony Roppolo, 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep, November 11, 2021. He was born and lived all of his life Akron.

Tony was a graduate at Akron South High School where he was a star football player #32. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber and was a member of St. Martha's-Blessed Trinity Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmela; parents, Joseph and Natalia Roppolo; sisters, Nancy, Antoinette; brothers, Frank, Carl; and daughter in law, Shelley Roppolo.

Tony is survived by his children, Frank Roppolo, Maria (Chip) Roppolo-Linn, Lisa Cook (Roppolo); grandchildren, Tony Roppolo, Andrew and Analise Cook; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Celebration of life will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Carovillese Club, 570 E Cuyahoga Falls. Ave, Akron.

Tony requested no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity of choice in Tony's name.
