V. Elaine Hickle

V. Elaine Hickle, 75, passed away May 18, 2021. Born in Fairfield, West Virginia, she lived most of her life in Rootstown.

Elaine was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard. Elaine loved being with her children and grandchildren. She loved baking, cooking and hosting holiday gatherings for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Vivian Tharp; brother, Larry Tharp.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Jerald; sons, Daniel (Karen) Hickle of Mogadore, Michael (Stephanie) Hickle of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, D.J. (Haley) Hickle, Garrett (Jenna Miller) Hickle, Abigail Hickle, Rachel Hickle, Carley Hickle; special niece, Reva Johnson and several other nieces and nephews; special friends, Frances and Helen; cats, Sissi and Sami.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Bernard Christy officiating.

Interment will be at Homeland Cemetery, Rootstown.
