Victoria "Vicki" Ann (Carter) Huth

Victoria "Vicki", "Nae Nae", "Aunt Vic" Ann Huth, 52, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2025. Born in Oceanside, California, she lived all of her adult life in the Suffield and Mogadore communities.

In 2003, Vicki began laying the groundwork for what would prove to be her legacy at her farm on Etter Road, in Suffield Township.  She tirelessly began planting trees and gardens, all while raising two wonderful boys and attending respiratory school as a non-traditional student. In the Spring of 2013 with the gardens planted along the way she established Huth Farms, eventually becoming better known throughout the community as Vic's Blankets and Blooms in 2016. With her love for helping others making her an exceptional asset to the healthcare industry, she knew in her heart she could help others in another way.

In 2021, after enduring a year of treating Covid, working the farm part-time, and helping whenever she was needed with her first born grandchild, Nora, her passion for family ignited the spark that would pull her from healthcare and allow her to devote every waking moment to the Huth/Whitt family, Vic's Blankets and Blooms, and Lines Down Fishing. Since 2021, Vicki has provided fresh cut flowers, made more quilts and created more lasting memories on Lake Erie than anyone could ever imagine.

Although Vicki's ambitions were big, her love for family and friends were always bigger. Along this journey, her farm would be the setting for family gatherings, birthdays, weddings, always including the vast number of immediate and extended family, and ultimately becoming the place she would enjoy watching her grandchildren grow up.  She is gone too soon, but everyone will continue to love Vicki and her farm even in her absence.

Many people have said that Vicki was her very happiest in the months, weeks, even days before her passing.  I believe this to be true.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Carter; Poppy and Grandma Alexander; Grandpa and Grandma Bailey; and Grandpa and Grandma Portzer.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Jacob; sons, Eddie (Ashley) Whitt, Erik (Raven) Whitt; mother, Kathryn (Sherwin) Williams; sister, Mary (Tod) Carter-Berry; grandchildren, Nora, Brady, Payton, Delaney, Atticus, Carter; and many, many, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at The Event on Sunnybrook, 3734 Sunnybrook Road, Kent, OH 44240. A Celebration of Vicki's life will take place immediately following the service.
