Obituary

Vincent Michael Lauro, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2017. He was born on June 7, 1984 in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Akron North High School. He loved animals, music, movies, comedy, electronics, slogan t-shirts and "bling". Vince had a bright smile, friendly personality and had the gift of gab and persuasion! He showed compassion towards everyone, especially the elderly, young children, those less fortunate and animals. He was very loyal to family and friends. Prior to being diagnosed with epilepsy, he worked at DeVitis Italian Market, Sears and Lucky Shoes. Vince was preceded in death by grandfather, Jerome (Jerry) J. Dalton, Sr.; grandmother, Esther Lauro; and best friends, Danielle Lewis and Kathleen McQuillan. He will be missed immensely by his beloved mother, Monica Dalton; treasured Grandmother Caroline Dalton; dear Aunt and Godmother Mary Dalton, Uncle and Godfather Jerome (Jerry) J. Dalton, Jr.; cousin, Gary Brandon, best friend Rob Wagner, close friends John Ostroski and Jeannine Lewis. His four furry children, Tori, Miri, Harley and Adele will miss him terribly. He is also survived by father, Timothy Lauro, Uncle Jim Lauro, Aunt Tammy Lyn Lepley and many loving cousins and friends. Visitation hours will be on Friday, January 20th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hennessy Funeral Home, 552 North Main St., Akron, OH 44310 (corner of N. Main St. and E. York St). Mass will be on Saturday, January 21st at 11 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron, OH 44310. Please meet at the church.
