Virginia G. Collins, 86, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on October 9, 2015. Though it was a sad day for all who had known her, her homecoming was celebrated by those who preceded her; her parents Roy and Susan Bourn; her son, Paul Clayton; and her brother, Gerald Bourn.Born in Duck, West Virginia, Virginia had lived in Tallmadge. She was a member of Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Water Lilies. She will forever be remembered for her quick wit and charm.Virginia is survived by her step daughter, Sandra (Jack) Huber; nephews, Andy (Cristal) Bourn and Eugene (Marie) Bourn; step granddaughter, Hanna Rose Huber.A special thanks to Dottie and Carol for their love and friendship. To Lorraine from Mature Services and to Meg, Vicki, and Tiarah of Summa Hospice, we cannot express our gratitude enough for the wonderful compassionate care you gave to her.A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Rev. Dr. Barry French officiating.
Visitation will be immediately following the service.
