Virginia May Micle

Virginia May Micle, 74, passed away June 6, 2026. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, she had lived nearly all of her life in Stow.

Virginia worked at Logos Bookstore in Kent before retiring in 2023. She was a member of Riverwood Community Chapel where she was an active participant in the Women of Joy Bible Study for many years. Virginia was very crafty, showing many of her artificial floral arrangements and decorations at her booth at the Country Sampler. Nothing was more important to Viriginia than her relationship with Jesus and the love of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Mary Hamman; parents-in-law, Howard and Doris Micle; brother, Ted (Carolyn) Hamman; brother-in-law, Jack Dawson; and sister-in-law, Becky Osmer.

Viriginia is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Donald (Juli) McKenzie and Jodi (Allan) Thorp; grandchildren, Donald, Jeffrey (Zoe), Katie (Randall), Ashley (Chadd), Kelsey (Mike), and Patricia (Zane); great-grandchildren, Brody, Kaylee, Cole, Chase, Kody, Blayton, Braxton, Emma-Lou, Dexter, Case, and Ember; sister, Geraldine Dawson; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home – Mogadore, 34 S Cleveland Avenue, Mogadore, OH.

Funeral service will follow at the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Music officiating.
