IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Virginia (Pensyl)
Simonetti
May 15, 1926 – November 20, 2017
TOGETHER AGAIN
Virginia May Simonetti, 91, passed away on November 20th after a short illness in the loving arms of the members of the Harbor Light Hospice and Altercare Nursing Home who helped care for her during this difficult time.
Born and raised in Akron Ohio, Virginia was defined by her unwavering love as a wife, mother and homemaker. While caring for her family, she spent 10 years employed by the Akron school system providing lunches to students and faculty. Virginia was a member of the Blessed Trinity (St. Martha's) Catholic Church where she practiced her faith and shaped the lives of her children.
Virginia is preceded in death by husband Nick Simonetti, parents Charles and Sophia Pensyl, sister Florence Nutter, and granddaughter Micheline Williamson. Virginia is survived by her brother, Charles Pensyl, 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, in addition to many nieces, nephews and friends; all of whom she loved and touched deeply.
Please join us in celebrating her life. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Monday November 27, at Blessed Trinity Church 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9 am until the mass at the church on Monday. Please send flowers to the church Monday morning. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the Harbor Light Hospice (https://harborlighthospice.com/make-a-donation/.)
