Walter "BRUCE" Lance passed away peacefully on December 7, 2022. He was born August 4, 1936 to Walter and Ethel Lance.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary Lou and daughter, Becky.
Bruce is survived by daughters, Cathy and Leslie (and his "son" Joe); grandchildren, Pace (and Dana), Vincent (and Erica) and Victor (and Robin); and 3 great grandsons, Vernon, Lennox and Elliot. He loved the generations of boys more than anything.
He served in the Marine Reserves as a young man. He worked his whole life in the transmission industry and had the opportunity to travel the world in the 2nd half of his career. He lived a life full of adventure. Bruce was a true artist and a master wood worker and mentored so many over the years. He welcomed anyone to join him in his workshop. His talent will live on through his handmade treasures.
The family will be holding calling hours from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service following at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle)
In lieu of flowers, please send any contributions to St Jude Hospital. His heart went out to the children.
