Wilbert D "Zim" Zimmerman

Wilbert D. "Zim" Zimmerman, 91, passed away July 14, 2016. Born in Lodi, he lived most of his life in Tallmadge.

Wilbert served in the U.S. Army Air Force and was owner and operator of Zim's Carburetor and Motor Tune Up retiring after 46 years. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge and past President of Summit County Automotive Services Association.

He is preceded in death by his parents Mearl and Clarice Zimmerman; sisters, Mary Smith and Carol Meyer.

Wilbert is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Julie Ann (Ben) Reuben, Amy Larson (Jake Smith) both of California, Martha (Tim) Lelko of Hudson; sister, Ruth Becka of Tennessee; one granddaughter, Priya Reuben.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016  at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016 at First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Dr., Tallmadge with Rev. Dr. John Schluep officiating.

Interment will be at Stow Cemetery.
