Wilburn "Lee" Crites

Wilburn Lee Crites, 87, passed away April 10, 2025.  He was born in Akron and lived all of his life in Tallmadge.

Lee worked as an inspector for Masey Ferguson and retired as a custodian from the City of Tallmadge after 20 years of service.  He enjoyed woodworking, was the President of the Summit County Fairgrounds, mowing the grass and being outside.  Lee also was a volunteer fireman for 38 years for the City of Tallmadge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Alice Crites; daughter, Lucinda; and brother-in-law, Bill Virden.

Lee is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Belinda (Jim) Crafton; grandchildren, Michael and Heather; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn (John) Wolcott and Karen Virden; brother, James (Vivian) Crites and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, April 18 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Memorial service will follow at 1:00 at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
