William Richard Baird

William Richard Baird, 72, passed away February 8, 2025.

Born in Akron, Bill had lived in the Tallmadge area for most of his life.  He was a machinist for 20 years before opening his own business, Baird's Gifts. Bill attended Faith Bible Fellowship.  He enjoyed ceramics, fishing, woodworking, trips to Canada and quilting.

Bill is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rebecca; daughters, Carrie (Jeremy) Drake, and Jeanna Baird; sons, William Baird, II, Jon Baird, Bob Baird; grandchildren, Madison, Scott, Valerie, Alysia, and Alexander; great grandchildren, Raelynn, Triston, and Milo; sister, Barbara Davis; and brothers, Robert (Margaret) Baird and Jonathan Baird.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Music officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
