William John Cartwright

William John Cartwright, 94, passed away October 30, 2023. He was born on August 4, 1929 in Cresson, PA and was raised on a Jersey dairy farm.  He was a devoted husband and father and lived most of his life in Tallmadge, Ohio.

William retired from Norton Company as a plant engineer and was a member of the Church of God. He enjoyed woodworking, home building, walking his dog, Tuffy, and a good cup of coffee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola; son, Monty; parents, Francis and Mary Cartwright; He was the last remaining sibling with 12 brothers and sisters.

William is survived by his children, Steve (Cathy) Cartwright, Judy (Chris) Arndt, Ruth Anne (Pete) Brock; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Private service was held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
