William W "Bill" Chandler, 84, of Jackson Township passed away November 24, 2017.  Bill was born May 27, 1933 in Akron, Ohio and graduated from North High School before serving in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He retired as a Vice President at BankOne Akron(formerly Firestone Bank) after 37 years service. Bill was an avid golfer and sports fan, enjoying the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Cavaliers.  He was a member of the Firestone Country Club. He attended the Church of the Lakes, Lake Cable.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lois; sons, Jeff (Esther), Kevin (Kim), and Gary (Kim) Chandler; two grandchildren, Kyle and Katie Chandler; sister, Geraldine (Marty) Jones; and sister-in-law, Betty (Jack ) Fallick; many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours are from 2 to 5p.m. Sunday, December 3rd, at the Hennessy Funeral Home 552 N Main St., Akron (corner of York and Main) where funeral services will be held Monday, December 4th, at 11 a.m. with Dr. Bryan George officiating. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
