William "Bill" Cline

William "Bill" Cline, 84, passed away November 26, 2022.

Born in Baileysville, West Virginia Bill had lived in the Tallmadge area since 1972. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired in 1997 from the Akron Public Schools with 28 years of service.  Bill was a member of Primetimers.  He also enjoyed poker with friends and golfing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Upha Cline; daughter, Tricia Cline and two sisters.

Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rita; daughters, Beth (Rich) McKee of North Ridgeville and Cathy (John) Phillips of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Michael (Sandy) Cline of Green; grandchildren, Brendan McKee, Jared, Nathan and Brandon Cline, Chris (Jordan), Jason (Lizzy) Ashley (Dylan) Swank, Cassidy (Will) Snyder; great grandchildren, Ian, Zac, Eli, Ember, and Greyson; nieces, Debbie (Rick) Heimbaugh and Susie (Bob) Copp and many other family members.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Memorial Service will be 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
