William L. Kalbaugh

William L. Kalbaugh, 84, passed away peacefully August 25, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, he lived most of his life in Tallmadge.

Bill served in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Captain from the City Of Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department. He was truly a family man and taught us all the importance of family. He was the #1 supporter of his children and grandchildren, as well as an avid Yankees fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Emma Kalbaugh, sister Joanne, brother Harry, mother in law and father in law, William and Mary Dunivant, sister in law, Joanne and brother in law, William.

Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce; son, Bill (Tami) Kalbaugh; daughters, Tari (Mark) Hilbish, Tracy (Don) Seeker, Tami (Tim) Viscuso; grandchildren, Billy Kalbaugh, Brian Kalbaugh, Tricia (Joe) Marchion, Tina Hilbish, Matt Hilbish, Scott Seeker, Sam Seeker, T.J. (Sarah) Viscuso, Brittany (Andrew) Jones, Matt (Anjellica) Almond; great grandchildren, Alyvia, Abby, Joey, Braylon, Hope, Hallie, Brooke, Tyson, Payton, Aubrey and Caden.

Private services will be held.

Interment will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
