William "Neal" Warner

William (Neal) Warner, 72, died suddenly, February 25, 2026. He was born on September 2,1953, in Akron to Luther and Wilma Warner. Neal graduated from Ellet High School in 1971. He served in the United States Army Reserve from 1971 to 1977. Married to Julie Ann Stevens, of Tallmadge, on May 2, 1980.

He worked at North Safety Products, Tallmadge, as a machine operator and packer on latex finger cot processing for 26 Years. He worked at Horton Manufacturing Co., Inc., Tallmadge/Tenpoint Crossbow Technologies, Mogadore, Warranty Dept. repairing crossbows and broken parts and trigger assembly for several years. After retiring, he worked at Simply EZ Home Delivered Meals of Northeast Ohio LLC, Akron, delivering meals to senior citizens. He was a member of United Church of God, Canton, Ohio

Neal loved to fish on his boat in Canada and Lake George, New York. He was “One Great Fisherman.” He would get up at dawn and fish till the sun came down. He also loved to sing and listen to Country Music. He played the guitar, steel guitar, and dobro. He enjoyed gardening for many years and cutting wood for our wood burning stove. He liked to travel to many national parks and enjoyed camping and hunting. He was a solitary man and liked being with family and friends.

Neal is survived by his wife, Julie; sister, Nora Lindhe; nephew, Ryan Huff and Michelle Huff; great niece, Bryana, (Brandon); great-great nephews, Owen and Sammy; great nephews, Brendan and Ryan Jr.; nephew, Bryson (Jerri) Huff; great nephew, Nate, great niece, Kylee, and great nephew, Mason; also, many cousins.

Neal’s final resting place will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron

There will be a celebration of life to be announced later.
