William C. Pfeifer

William C. Pfeifer, 78, passed away September 4, 2015.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Bill lived most of his life in Akron. He retired in 1997 as a shipping foreman with 29 years of service at Akron Electro Type. He served in the Army during the Korean War and collected Scooby Doo memorabilia.

Bill was preceded in death by his daughter Marion Rose Dzoch.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Linda Olds of Akron; sons, Richard Karr of Akron; Anthony Dzoch of Columbus; sister, Kathy Faust; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

Calling hours will be 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 7 p.m.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
