William John Stottler

Wm John Stottler, 95, passed away on March 23, 2017.

He grew up in Akron Ohio, the son of Howell and Mona Stottler.  John served his country in the U.S. Army Airforce During WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star.  He went on to have a long career in the insurance industry.

John is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Emily; brothers Robert and Herb and niece Debra.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Suzanne; son, Brian (Jan); daughter, Christine (David); sister-in-law, Jan (Herb); grandsons, Christian and Chad (Danielle); granddaughter, Lindsay (Craig); nephew, Robert (Kathy); nieces, Myra, Pamela, and, Tonia; grandnieces, Jackie and Kim; and his beloved dog, Bennie.

Cremated at his request, Funeral Services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio 44273 on Tuesday, May 30 @ 1:30 PM, officiated by Robert Stottler. PROCESSION TO FORM at 12:15 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home 17 Southwest Ave (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle) in Tallmadge, Ohio.
