Winnifred Turner (née Van der Ploeg), age 89, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gorrilt and Edelina Van der Ploeg; brothers, Peter, George, Paul; sisters, Verna and Pearl; and son in law, Mark Allan Bower.
Winnie is survived by her children, Jamie (Mike) Smead, Perry (Hennie) Turner and Darcy Bower. She had a blended family of grandchildren, Ty (Ashley) Turner, Emma and Sarah Turner, Meggan (Brandon) Poe and Brian (Alicia) Bower; great grandchildren, Xander Gage Turner, Jaxxon Poe and Easton Bower.
Winnie was a lifetime member of the New Apostolic Church where service will be held for her on Saturday, July 2nd at New Apostolic Church, 356 Eastwood Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio at 10:30 am. Greetings will will begin at 10:00am.
