Yvonne Aileen Conway TOGETHER AGAIN Our Mother, Yvonne Aileen Conway, died on December 5, 2017. She was 88 years young. No words can express how saddened we are by losing our Matriarch, best friend and perfect angel. Yvonne loved life and those around her. She will be greatly missed by countless friends and relatives. She will be joining the Lord and united with her husband, Joseph Conway who she loved and was married to for 64 years and who preceded her in death. Her daughter, Christine Conway Dufford also preceded her in death and is waiting with open arms for her mother to come to her at last. In her earlier years, Yvonne loved to bowl and was an avid bridge player. She was a wonderful dancer and music lover. She was a sun goddess who loved the outdoors and her gardens of plants and roses. She made everyone she knew or met feel welcome and she exuded such love and compassion to all. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked at Montgomery Ward and retired from working as an A.V. Tech in the library at Kent State University. Her most humble avocation was being the best and loving mother to her six children. She is survived by her sons, Joseph and Tim (Eileen); her daughters, Michelle, Connie and Kim; her grandchildren, Kellie (Mike), Sean, Ryan (Nancy), Nathan (Shihyun), Meghan (Scott), Jonathan and Joseph; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Coleton, Connor, Kyrian and Remington. She dearly loved her grandson-in-law, Phil, our cousin, Diane and her many nieces and nephews along with countless friends of Kim and Connie who were there to make her smile and help during her difficult times. The family would like to thank the staff at Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center for their loving care they provided for Yvonne and her family. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Fr. Neil Crosby officiating. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
