Bobbie Jo Ruff-Kiggans, 75, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on May 1, 2023, following an extended illness. She was born on November 2, 1947, in Akron, to the late Frederick E. and Delpha L. Gross.
Also preceding her in death was her sister, Gail E. Gross and step-daughter Kimberly B. Bugay.
On April 12, 1997, she married the love of her life and her best friend, Harold (Hody) Kiggans, who survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Christine (Jeff) Pusateri; and her granddaughter Brittany David (fiancé Stephen); step-children DeAnne (Joel) Nichols and Steven (Jennifer) Kiggans. She was also loved by sisters-in-law Beth (Mark) Prusinowski and Laura Kisner.
During her life, Bobbie dedicated many years to Firestone and later retired from Summa Healthcare. A loyal employee, Bobbie made many friends amongst her colleagues. Much of her retirement was spent snow-birding between Florida and Ohio until permanently relocating in 2019. An avid crafter, she spent countless hours working on cross stitch, enjoying true crime television, battling an Amazon addiction, and hosting many family get-togethers at her home. The life of the party, Bobbie would ensure no belly was empty and no cup ran dry.
Cremation has taken place and her remains will be interred at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, OH at a future date.
