Charlotte G. Slovisky, 96, passed away February 24, 2021. Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in Tallmadge.
Charlotte was a daughter, a sister, a wife of 51 years, a mother of 4, a grandmother of 9 and a great-grandmother of 7. Charlotte worked at the YWCA as a lifeguard until she retired. Charlotte was a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Victory Church. She was a member of the Tallmadge Prime Timers, The Polish American Club, the PLAV and enjoyed going to Reservoir Park. When Charlotte saw a need, she helped. She truly loved people and many people truly loved her. Her death is Earth’s loss and Heaven’s gain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; parents, Stanley and Nellie Sasinowski; brother, Stanley Sasinowski; sister, Henrietta Uber.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Karen (Riley) Salmons, Susan Moore; sons, Richard Slovisky (Hannah Marshal), Todd (Marie) Slovisky; grandchildren, Paul, Steven, Loretta. Allison, Angela, Whitney, Sarah, Samuel, Sydney; great grandchildren, Emma, Dominic, Anna, Zack, Wesley, Jonathan, Bruce; sister, Janet Sasinowski (Ed), special friends Leocadia Lorkowski, Frances Eckenrode, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday Feb. 28th 1:00-3:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Mass of Christian Burial will be March 1st 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating. PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH.
