Christine M Lackney

Christine M. Lackney, 63, passed away December 24, 2020.

Chris was born and raised in Senecaville Ohio graduating from Guernsey Catholic Central in 1975. She was a proud 1979 Ohio State graduate earning a Bachelor of Science Degree. She started her life’s work as a Catholic educator in Guernsey County and after completing her Masters Degree in Educational Administration with Franciscan University her career path led her to positions within the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. Most recently Chris served as Vice Principal at St Peter School in Lorain Ohio.

Chris was a person that truly lived her faith in all aspects. She loved and accepted every person just as they were. Her absolute dedication to educating children, mentoring and development of Catholic values in youth is her lasting legacy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Charities, 1404 E 9th St, Cleveland, OH 44114.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 4th at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Victory 73 North Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating.
