David Rupert Keener

David Rupert Keener, age 90, of Tallmadge, passed away on January 9, 2022. Born in Lodi to Harriet (Rupert) and Dr. Duane Keener.

After graduating from West Salem High, he attended and graduated from Ohio Northern College of Pharmacy. David then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  After having worked at Bumpas Drug, he then worked for Upjohn Pharmaceutical.

Other than his parents David was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Dr. Loy Booker.

David is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia (nee Booker); children, Jeffrey (Annette), Dean (Meg); grandchildren, Julia, Kyle, Brian and Olivia.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
