Denny Hanna was born on September 24, 1953, and slipped away at home surrounded by his cherished family, his wife, Lynn Sanders Hanna and his sons Jeff (Lisa) and Michael. Denny leaves behind his five much-loved grandchildren, Makenzie (Kenzie), Tyler, Braedyn, Kaylee and Adylen (Ady), all of whom will miss their Jiddo terribly.
Denny was a life-long Ohio resident, graduating from Copley High School. Since 1990 Denny owned and operated Akron Embroidery.
Although Denny was predeceased by both of his parents, Evonne and Edward Hanna, he is survived by his two brothers, Eddy (Cyndy) and Steve (Mary). Denny also leaves behind a sizable extended family including members of the Aed, Sanders, Hanna, Payne, King and Yourth families, which include several nieces and nephews in Ohio, California, Texas, Washington, DC and South Korea. All who knew and loved Denny will miss him very much.
The legacy he passes on comes from his character, reputation, ethics and core values, setting a perfect example for others by the life he led.
Special thanks to Dr. Franciska Kiraly for her benevolent caring and special attention to Denny and his family, and to Heather and Taylor from Traditions Hospice.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, November 10, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road, Uniontown, Ohio, followed by a mass at 10:30 am.
