Dolores Jean (Bull) Comparda

Together Again

Dolores L. Comparda, 94, passed away April 8, 2024.

Born in Akron, Dolores had lived most of her life in Tallmadge.  She retired in 1995 from First Merit after 45 years of service.  Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church.  She enjoyed boating and the cottage at Berlin Dam. Dolores especially loved cooking huge meals for her family and spending time caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She always had all of their favorite foods and took great joy in watching them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Richard Walker; and brother, Charles Bull.

Dolores is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Ron) Benko and Linda Nuosci; son, Robert (Jen) Comparda,; 14 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A Private Graveside Service was held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family would like to thank all of her caregivers through her journey.  The family would also like to express sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who have shown friendship and support.  It has been very much appreciated.
