Edward A. Dever, 86, passed away April 9, 2018. Born in Evansville, Indiana, he lived in Stow for 53 years.
Edward served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Community Baptist Church. He retired in 1986 with 20 years of service with E.C.M.C.A. as Director of Data Processing. He was a member of the Mason’s and active in his church. Edward could learn anything. He enjoyed painting, woodworking, and his children were his priority.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; parents, Schuyler and Eva Dever; grandchildren, Jacob, John, Joseph; sister, Hazel Foster; brothers, Donald and Robert.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Danielle (Gary) Bedard of Randolph; son, Daniel (Karen) Dever of North Brookfield, MA; grandchildren, Isaac and Christy.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday following the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Sheila Hershberger officiating.
Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph, Ohio.
