Gladys Ann (Madden) Rickey

Gladys Ann Rickey, 83 went to be with Jesus October 7, 2021. Born in Akron, she had lived most of her life in the Akron area.

Gladys worked as a clerk at the Twinsburg Post Office and was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.  She was active with her church and family and loved doing puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents, Nelson and Sylvia Madden; brother, Nelson Madden, Jr.

Gladys is survived by her daughters, Joanne Darrow of Ravenna, Gail Rickey of Florida, Roberta (Kent) Papczun of Brimfield; son, Larry Thomas (Jenna) Rickey, Jr. of Stow; grandchildren, Brian (Angela), Terry, Jay, Deanna, Brandi (Doug), Kent, Jr. (Katie), Emma (Noah), Luke, Dan, Ken; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen Baird of Streetsboro, Shirley (Charles) Woodward of Illinois, Lora Lee (Bob) Kutcher of Akron; brothers, William (Beverly) Madden of Georgia; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Funeral service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Crown Hill Cemetery.
