Harold E. Esker, 96, passed away January 20, 2022. Born in Kent, he lived most of his life in the Akron area.
Harold served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired as a General Manager from BA Services. He was a life member of the VFW Post #15036.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; parents, Lawrence and Ruth Esker; brother, Fred.
Harold is survived by his daughters, Kay (David) Lucien of Virginia, Kelley Hammond of Florida; grandchildren, Chad (Erin) Lucien, Sara (David) Roques, Jeremy (Rebecca) Scherer, Adam (Tiffany) Hammond; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Funeral Service will follow visitation at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Case officiating.
Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
